to have you here. SIMON: Raunchy new look and everything. BEN: Raunchy? Really? SIMON: Yes. You look completely different. BEN: Well, I've lost about three stone and cut off that ridiculous hair. SIMON: Everyone was very happy when you had ridiculous hair and were a bit chunky. BEN: I was happier. I was just eating pizzas and having a whale of a time. SIMON: I think the fans enjoyed that hair. BEN: I think they did and then I probably kept it for five years after it went out of fashion. SIMON: Now, seeing as you're here my dreams of an a1 reunion... do I just have to discard those now? BEN: I'm still good friends with the guys and they are doing really well with their music. SIMON: You can say you hate them. BEN: Actually we do all really get on. SIMON: But that's not that interesting. BEN: Would you like something more juicy? SIMON: What about if you just hated that Mark guy? BEN: Did you not like Mark? SIMON: I found him a bit... sometimes I would interview him and a bit of sick would come up. BEN: [Laughs] Really? Well, he'll be watching so he'll be pleased with that. SIMON: You were always my favourite. BEN: I knew it. SIMON: Now, Geri Halliwell presented the show last week and gave us some shocking trivia. She said she saw you out on the town and she spotted you out with Craig David and she said it looked like what could only be described as a drinking relationship. How did this happen? BEN: Craig and myself have been great friends for a while now. He's such a great guy and such a good friend to me. SIMON: Now how did we not know this? I feel upset that I had to find out from Geri. BEN: I'm not the kind of person to go shouting and bragging about who my friends are. SIMON: I think there should have been a press release. You're out drinking with Craig, what do you talk about? BEN: Girls mainly. We try and find out where the best place is to pick up some hot chicks. SIMON: If I wanted to come along to one of these things... BEN: You'd be more than welcome. SIMON: I could come along and watch. BEN: It's a deal. SIMON: You're new single is called 'Sorry'. What are you sorry about? BEN: Basically I was dating a girl a while back and I thought she was cheating on me and instead of doing the mature thing and asking her about it I went off with somebody else. It turns out she wasn't cheating on me in the first place. A big mess. SIMON: And where does Craig David come into this? BEN: He didn't really come into that story. SIMON: Have you ever had to apologise to Craig David? BEN: Yes, I scratched his car the other day. SIMON: You have gone a lot more urban these days. BEN: What, more than 'Summertime Of Our Lives'? I don't think so! SIMON: Just slightly. It's been lovely talking to you without those other guys. BEN: They're were here in spirit. SIMON: That Mark... BEN: He's a great guy! SIMON: No, even you know he isn't. BEN: He's a lovely guy, he really is. SIMON: Well, thank you very much and good luck with everything.
